The beamZ BS1200 is a high-performance RGB+CW combination strobe capable of functioning as a strobe , blinder , and color wash in a single device. Its panel integrates 1,160 SMD LEDs distributed as follows: 600 RGB (20 segments), 320 dual white CW/WW (40 segments), and 240 cool white (10 segments), offering flexible color mixing and the ability to recreate the classic strobe look with dedicated white sections. With a 49° beam angle , a 100° field angle , and 15,824 lx illuminance at 1 m , it delivers powerful bursts of light and homogeneous washes for stages and events of any size.
Control is direct via DMX512 ( 7/14/21/150 channel modes), standalone mode with 20 automatic programs , 20 sound-activated programs , and manual control via the LCD screen . It features adjustable dimming curves and a 1–20 Hz flash frequency for fine-tuning the response. The metal housing is fan-cooled and includes P-Con (Powerconnector) input/output for power daisy-chaining and a 3-pin XLR DMX connection . Its compact dimensions of 115 × 490 × 272 mm and weight of 7.15 kg allow for easy installation on trusses , bars, or lighting stands.
