The AKG LC82MD-BG is a lavalier microphone from the MicroLite series, designed for theater, broadcast, conferences and presentations where maximum discretion and clear sound are required. It incorporates an extremely small (≈ 3.6 mm diameter), low-profile omnidirectional condenser capsule , with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz , sensitivity 15 mV/Pa , SNR 63 dB(A) and maximum SPL 145 dB . It is designed to be highly resistant to moisture and has EMC protection against RF interference. The cable is terminated in Microdot , which allows use with most wireless systems via adapters; in addition, it can be used in wired mode with the optional MDPA phantom adapter. It is supplied with diaphragm and mounting accessories , and is available in several colors; this version is beige for discreet visual integration with skin or light clothing.
