AKG H500 – Shock mount for DAM/DAM+ gooseneck microphones with 12 dB vibration attenuation

The AKG H500 is a suspension shock mount designed for flush-mounting AKG's modular installation gooseneck microphones. It isolates the microphone from structure-borne noise from a table or lectern with up to 12 dB attenuation , improving intelligibility in lecture halls, houses of worship, parliaments, or auditoriums. Its construction combines a low-profile plastic housing with an elastic inner insert , facilitating a secure, durable, and low-maintenance mount.

The H500 is designed to fit Discreet Acoustics Modular (DAM) Series “E” and “ES” gooseneck modules (e.g. GN15E/GN30E/GN50E ) and, in the DAM+ generation, is designed to accommodate even longer goosenecks such as the GN50 M . It requires a 50mm diameter hole for flush mounting in a tabletop or pulpit, and allows for quick installation and removal when mobile mountings are required.
