The AKG GN15 is a high-performance gooseneck module for fixed installations within the Discreet Acoustics Modular (DAM) ecosystem. This version (incl. DPA, screw set) is intended for permanent screw mounting and is supplied with the external in-line phantom power adapter (DPA) with XLR output and the screw set for table/music stand fixing. The GN15 integrates a status LED ring , a low-cut filter with a 6 dB/Oct slope on the DPA adapter and a mini XLR connector on the gooseneck itself that simplifies fitting through small holes without soldering. Its usable length is approximately 160 mm and it is compatible with the entire DAM capsule family (CK31, CK32, CK33, CK47, CK80).

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it include a microphone capsule?
No. The GN15 is the flexo module with DPA and hardware. The cartridge (CK31/CK32/CK33/CK47/CK80) is purchased separately.

How is it different from the GN15 E?
The GN15 uses an external in-line DPA (mounted under a table and connected via XLR). The GN15 E integrates the XLR adapter into the collar itself for mobile use or F-Lock -equipped panels.

What size hole do I need?
To pass the mini XLR of the GN15, a hole of approximately 11 mm is sufficient. For the lower fixing screw, the standard mounting requires a hole of approximately 14 mm .
