The D112 MKII delivers classic kick drum low end with extreme level handling ( >160 dB SPL ) and a balanced 20 Hz–17 kHz response. The D40s add attack and body to the snare/toms, with high level tolerance ( up to 156 dB SPL at 0.5% THD ) and a 75 Hz–17 kHz response, perfect for close miking. For overheads, the C430s — true cardioid condenser drivers — deliver clarity and detail from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and require 48 V ±4 V phantom power according to IEC 61938.
