AKG DGN99 - Cardioid Dynamic Gooseneck Microphone with Universal Connection (Open Cables)
The AKG DGN99 is a dynamic gooseneck microphone designed for PA , intercom, and call systems at counters, ticket counters, reception desks, and service stations. Its cardioid capsule offers high intelligibility and good off-axis rejection for increased gain before feedback, with a speech-optimized response of 150 Hz–15 kHz . Unlike condenser models, it does not require phantom power , and its all-metal construction ensures a long lifespan in demanding environments.
The "universal connection" version of the DGN99 features a 2 m fixed cable with open ends that facilitates connection to power strips, terminal blocks, or custom connectors in new or retrofit installations. This simplifies flush-mounting or screw-mounting to surfaces and desks, keeping the workstation tidy. For those who prefer direct connection to a console, there is the DGN99 E variant with a 3-pin XLR output.
