The AKG CK49 is a supercardioid shotgun condenser capsule designed for AKG's Discreet Acoustics Modular Plus (DAM+) modular system. It offers an 80° pickup angle with clean off-axis response, delivering clear vocal capture from greater distances from lecterns or pulpits, as well as close-quarters use with reduced pop noise. Its design is derived from the renowned CK47, utilizing AKG's signature staple capsule technology for studio-quality audio in demanding fixed installations.

The CK49 is housed in a slim metal body and attaches directly to DAM+ goosenecks (GN15 M/GN30 M/GN50 M) and the HM1000 M pendant module . It is supplied with the W49 foam windscreen , which effectively reduces wind noise and plosives. Its specifications are optimized for speech: 60 Hz–20 kHz , sensitivity 10 mV/Pa , equivalent noise frequency 30 dB(A) , S/N ratio 64 dB(A) and max SPL 136 dB (3% THD). With a matte black finish and a very discreet form factor ( 122 mm × Ø 9 mm , 24.9 g ), it is ideal for conference rooms, theaters, universities and houses of worship.
