AVID ELEVEN RACK with Pro Tools Annual Subscription, Audio Interface with Emulator

The Eleven Rack is a guitar recording and effects processing system designed to eliminate the challenges guitarists face in the studio and onstage. It combines Pro Tools software with a high-resolution, DSP-accelerated interface. This system uses a unique tone-cloning design to create amp and speaker models, along with a custom True-Z input that recreates the experience of playing with a full guitar rig.

Eleven Rack in the Studio

Thanks to its dual-DSP audio interface, latency isn't an issue when recording with integrated amp/effects tones, and the computer doesn't have to handle the processing. It also allows for real or virtual re-amping by simultaneously recording a dry and processed guitar signal. Additionally, amp and effects settings can be integrated into recorded audio tracks, making it easy to automatically recall these settings on any Pro Tools system with Eleven Rack.

Eleven Rack on Stage

On stage, Eleven Rack functions as a standalone processor for amp tones and effects signals. It includes a classic collection of effects, from essential stompboxes to world-class studio processors. Its interface offers I/O flexibility for integration into any existing rig. It also allows for powerful control via MIDI controllers and expression pedals, offering complete control from vintage wah effects to tempo-synced delays.

True-Z

Input impedance (the electronic resistance in the input circuit of the amplifier or effect connected to the guitar) significantly impacts tone. Each guitar reacts uniquely to each amplifier or effect. Digidesign recognized that recreating this electronic relationship was crucial to nailing the sound and feel of its emulations.

True-Z is a unique analog input circuit that replicates the input impedance of vintage pedals and amps, achieving incredibly realistic sounds. It's as if the Eleven Rack's True-Z input has transformed into the 1/4" input of the vintage pedal or amp you're using. You can also manually adjust the impedance to best suit your playing style.
