The Mackie 802VLZ4 is an 8-channel mixer that combines the quality of Onyx™ preamps with a “Built-Like-A-Tank™” steel chassis and sealed controls. It offers three Onyx™ microphone preamps with an ultra-wide 60 dB gain range and 128.5 dB of dynamic range, line signal handling up to +22 dBu, extended 20 Hz to 50 kHz response, and distortion less than 0.0007% (20 Hz–50 kHz). Its eight high-level line inputs, 18 dB/oct low-cut filters at 100 Hz on the microphone channels, and enhanced RF rejection make it perfect for broadcast and live environments, while aux send, pan, level, and PFL/Solo functions on each channel, along with a stereo ALT 3/4 bus and 12-segment stereo meters, provide maximum versatility and control.
