The Mackie 1202VLZ4 combines four high-quality Onyx™ preamplifiers with a “Built-Like-A-Tank™” steel chassis and sealed controls, all in an extremely compact desktop form factor. It offers a 60 dB gain range and 128.5 dB dynamic range, line handling up to +22 dBu, 20 Hz–50 kHz response, and distortion of less than 0.0007% (20 Hz–50 kHz) thanks to its high-performance converters and improved RF rejection, ideal for broadcast and live applications. It features +48V phantom power on all four microphone channels, eight high-level line inputs, Hi-Z inputs on channels 1–2 with no external DI required, 3-band EQ and 18 dB/oct low-cut filter at 75 Hz, plus an AUX send, two stereo returns, ALT 3/4 bus, and 12-segment stereo meters for visual mix monitoring.
