Each Boston 30 Ring unit combines a 30W white LED source (approximately 50,000 hours lifespan) with an LED effects ring , enabling highly dynamic looks with defined 13° beams, a color wheel with 7 colors plus white, and a gobo wheel with 7 gobos plus open , both independent . Movement is fast and precise, with 540° pan and 270° tilt , and inversion of both axes; the 0–100% dimmer and strobe effect complete a highly versatile palette for events.

For control, it incorporates DMX-512 with two channel modes (10/12 CH) , as well as Auto , Music (sound-activated), and Master/Slave modes, with four pre-programmed shows and gobo scrolling .
