Audibax Missouri Rack B - Dual Handheld UHF Wireless System with 19" Rackmount Receiver

The Audibax Missouri Rack B is a UHF wireless microphone system with two cardioid dynamic handheld microphones and a receiver for 19” rack mounting (standard 482.6 mm). Designed for live sound, corporate events, education, and rental applications , it operates in the UHF 626–668 MHz range and offers a signal-to-noise ratio > 100 dB , dynamic range > 106 dB , and distortion ≤ 0.05% for stable and clean transmission. The system provides a typical range of 50 to 80 m in open spaces and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 18 kHz , maintaining natural sound for spoken and sung voice. The receiver uses BNC antenna connections (50 Ω) and 15–17 V DC power with an approximate consumption of 2 W ; the receive sensitivity is 5 dBµV with interference rejection > 80 dB . The transmitters deliver 5–10 mW of RF power and use two AA batteries . They are made of aluminum and zinc alloy to maximize resistance in daily use.

Main features

  • Configuration: UHF system with 2 handheld microphones + 1 19" rack-mount receiver
  • RF frequency range (B band): 626–668 MHz.
  • Microphone pattern: cardioid (dynamic, handheld).
  • Audio performance: signal-to-noise ratio > 100 dB; dynamic range > 106 dB; distortion ≤ 0.05%.
  • System frequency response: 20 Hz – 18 kHz.
  • Operating range: 50–80 m (favorable conditions, line of sight).
  • Frequency stability: ±0.005%; spurious emissions < −60 dBc.
  • Transmitters: RF power 5–10 mW; analog modulation (max. deviation 20 kHz); consumption < 100 mA; 2×AA power supply.
  • Receiver: sensitivity 5 dBµV; interference rejection > 80 dB; BNC antenna connector 50 Ω ; DC power supply 15–17 V ; consumption 2 W.
  • Construction: microphone body made of aluminum and zinc alloy.
  • Format: 19” (482.6 mm) rack receiver.
  • Package contents: 2 handheld microphones, 1 receiver, 1 power cable, and 1 user manual.

Product benefits

  • Clear and stable signal: high SNR and dynamic range to minimize background noise and maintain voice articulation.
  • Reliable coverage: up to 50–80 m range in UHF, suitable for classrooms, auditoriums and medium-sized stages.
  • Professional mounting: 19” rack-ready receiver, ideal for mobile racks and technical rooms.
  • Strength and durability: metal alloy microphones designed for intensive use in rental and installation.
  • Simple operation: analog modulation, direct control on transmitters and powered by standard AA batteries.

Use cases

  • Events and conferences: presentations, corporate streaming and lecture halls with two speakers.
  • Live performances: lead and backing vocals in pubs, temples, theaters and multipurpose venues.
  • Fixed installations: auditoriums, educational centers and meeting rooms with rack integration.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it compatible with phantom power? Not applicable: the microphones are wireless handheld with a dynamic capsule; phantom power only affects wired XLR inputs.
  • Can I use it in any EU country? It operates in the 626–668 MHz band (within the 470–694 MHz range). Check local PMSE/spectrum regulations before operating.
  • What batteries do I need? Each transmitter uses 2 AA alkaline batteries. It is recommended to have spares for longer events.
  • Does the receiver include BNC antennas? Yes, the antenna input is BNC 50 Ω; it allows the use of compatible antennas and distribution accessories.

Usage recommendations

  • Plan the RF channel: choose free frequencies and keep the receiver away from Wi-Fi routers or other RF sources.
  • Antenna placement: maintain line of sight to the transmitters and use extenders/remote antennas if the rack is hidden.
  • Gain management: adjusts levels to take advantage of the dynamic range and avoid clipping on the console/PA.
