At dbx, when we do something, we do it right. So when we decided to create our new DI boxes, we didn't settle for the same old, tired approach to DI box design. With our dbx name on the line, how could we? One look at our new dB10 Passive and dB12 Active DI boxes will tell you that these are distinctly different. With their bulletproof construction and extraordinary audio performance that rivals their looks, there's finally a DI box worthy of the dbx name. Using dbx custom mu-metal-shielded audio transformers, high-quality Neutrik® connectors, and low-noise circuitry, the sonic integrity and true characteristics of the signal source are preserved. Both boxes include an attenuation switch that accommodates instrument-level, line-level, and even speaker-level signals. Take even more control over your sound by using the polarity invert switch to set the phase relationship between the direct sound and the miked sound. As a pro, you don't have time for interference, so we've included a ground lift switch to solve potential hum and noise issues due to ground loops. And between the combined shielding of the die-cast metal chassis and custom transformer, you can be doubly assured of a clean signal free of interference. All of this sits on a solid, stable base that will prevent the cabinet from dragging on stage, and the unique contoured bottom allows for securely stacking multiple units. Features?
