The AKG APS4 is a wideband UHF active antenna and power splitter designed to power up to four receivers with the RF signal from a single pair of antennas. It also supplies power to all receivers connected via BNC cables. This splitter operates over an extended frequency range of 470 to 952 MHz , offering great flexibility. It also features adjustable RF attenuation settings to ensure maximum operating distance even with different cable lengths and types.

The APS4 is housed in a rugged half-rack metal enclosure and is compatible with all commercially available AKG active and passive antennas (RA4000 B/W, RA4000 W, SRA2 B/W and SRA2 W). The product includes a rack mounting kit ( RMU4000 ), two cables for front antenna mounting and ten BNC cables ( MKPS ) for immediate system setup.

The APS4 also features two rear-panel antenna inputs providing 12 VDC power to power up to three active elements per antenna path (e.g., one RA4000 B/W or SRA2 B/W active antenna and two AB4000 antenna amplifiers connected to one RF input). It also includes two sets of four BNC output connectors to power up to four diversity receivers, and two additional outputs for linking up to three additional APS4 devices.
