The KORG wavestate SE Platinum is the limited edition of the flagship of the wavestate family, made in Japan and dressed in a silver aluminum panel and stainless steel sides . It incorporates a premium 61-note “Natural Touch” keyboard with aftertouch and release velocity sensitivity, mounted in a full metal chassis ready for tour and studio. Beneath the panel, its Wave Sequencing 2.0 architecture offers 120 stereo voices of polyphony —almost double that of the original wavestate—, 4 layers with vector control , and up to 14 simultaneous effects . It comes with a dedicated hard case and a set of stickers exclusive to the Platinum version.

Designed for real-time control, the wavestate SE Platinum adds eight programmable Mod Knobs , a vector joystick , pitch/modulation wheels , and a panel with direct access to filters, envelopes, LFOs, and effects. Its engine supports gigabytes of samples and the import of up to 4GB of your own multisamples using the Sample Builder software . It includes hundreds of updated sounds for aftertouch and is fully compatible with sounds and samples from the original wavestate and wavestate native (software). The workflow is completed with Set Lists , Smooth Sound Transitions (without cuts), intelligent randomization, and the free official Editor/Library for Mac/Windows.
