Beneath its stage-ready design, it incorporates the MMT (Multiple Modeling Technology) engine with 200 enhanced solo programs , up to 8-voice polyphony (4 with vocoder), an arpeggiator , and an effects chain with timbre-specific EQ and 17 master algorithms . The slim, 37-note, velocity-sensitive keyboard and two ribbon controllers —short on the neck for pitch bend /modulation and long next to the keyboard for pitch or filter and scale playing—open up an expressiveness that’s difficult to achieve on a static keyboard.
