The KORG Nu:Tekt TR-S Power Tube Reactor is a pedal kit that uses the Nutube 6P1 tube to reproduce the response, dynamics, and harmonics of a real tube amplifier. Using dedicated circuitry, the TR-S recreates the power amp's compression "sag" and allows you to hear and see how the tube reacts to your playing through its front-facing window. It's an ideal solution when recording online or playing through a solid-state amp, adding a tube feel, natural saturation, and body to your sound.

The Nu:Tekt kit is designed to be assembled quickly and without soldering: just fix the bottom cover, attach the knobs and rubber feet. It includes a tool kit and a sheet of stickers to customize the pedal. On the front panel you will find four very straightforward controls — VOLUME , POWER SAG , MIX (direct signal/Nutube mix) and TUBE GAIN — and inside there are three micro-adjustments ( TONE , SUSTAIN , THRESHOLD ) that allow you to fine-tune the attack, sustain time and the threshold at which the “sag” effect begins, adapting to single-coil or humbucker pickups . It is powered by a 9V battery or 9V DC adapter, with a consumption of 85mA, and offers approximately 5 hours of autonomy on an alkaline battery.
