The KORG Pa700 is an accompaniment keyboard (arranger) that puts the most realistic EDS-X engine, a 7” TouchView display, and a built-in 2x25W sound system in a portable form factor. It includes over 1,700 sounds —including multi-layer stereo piano, damper, and snare resonances—, 106 drum kits , 128-voice polyphony , and DNC technology. It has significantly more factory PCM memory than the Pa600 , and there’s also 256MB (compressed; 128MB linear) user sample memory for KORG/WAV/AIFF/SoundFont import. The dual media players play MIDI/MP3/MP3+G , and you can record your entire performance, including microphone or guitar, to MP3 with dedicated processors. Plus, MIDI over USB HOST lets you connect controllers (like the KORG nano and micro series) without extra interfaces.

In terms of accompaniment, it offers more than 370 factory styles , 1,152 user positions (User + Direct) and creation tools such as Style Creator Bot (converts an SMF into a style), Guitar Mode 2 and Chord Sequencer .
