The KORG PA1000 is a high-performance accompaniment keyboard that combines a 61-key semi-weighted keyboard with aftertouch , an internal 2-way speaker system (2 × 33 W) , and the EDS-X sound engine to deliver professional-quality performance in the live, studio, and teaching environments. Its 7” TouchView touchscreen with manual tilt simplifies navigation and editing, while the factory PCM memory is four times larger than the Pa900 , bringing extra realism to its 1,750+ sounds (including two multi-layer stereo pianos with damper and snare resonances) and 107 drum kits . It also features DNC (Defined Nuance Control) and digital drawbars with rotary emulation for superior expressive control.

With over 430 factory styles and 1,152 user slots (User and Direct banks), the PA1000 covers repertoires from all over the world. Its Style Creator Bot converts Standard MIDI Files into complete styles and automatically generates chord sequences. The TC-Helicon vocal processor with up to 3 harmony voices and the dedicated guitar processor allow for studio-quality vocal and instrument integration. The XDS Player plays two tracks simultaneously (MIDI/MP3/MP3+G) with crossfade , and the unit can record the entire performance (keyboard, styles, vocals, guitar, and effects) to MP3 .
