Audix M55W - Installation Microphone

SMALL DIAPHRAGM CONDENSER MICROPHONE The M55 Pendant Ceiling Microphone System is designed for applications where aesthetics, sound quality, and ease of installation are critical. Primary applications for the ceiling-mounted M55 include audio pickup for video and presentations or teleconferencing (VTC), distance learning, hospital wards, surveillance, and environmental miking. The M55 Conference Microphone can be equipped with interchangeable capsules with cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and supercardioid (shotgun) coverage patterns. It boasts high sensitivity and low noise. Shielded against RF interference caused by cell phones and mobile devices. Installing the M55 Pendant Microphone requires drilling only a single 5/8-inch hole in the ceiling, requiring no additional tools. The M55's mounting hardware allows easy adjustment of the hanging height up to four feet from the ceiling surface without removing the ceiling tiles. An optional orientation clip (MCHANGER) allows for easy angular adjustments once installed. The cable assembly, with a terminal block connector, is carefully housed in a fire-resistant, watertight junction box. A safety cable provides additional seismic restraint. The M55 is produced in white and comes with a 4 ft cable terminated in a block-mount connector.
