JBL Professional Intellivox DSX430 - Powered Column Speaker with Active Beam Shaping (DDS), 4.35 m and Coverage up to 50 m

The Intellivox-DSX430 is the second tallest of Duran Audio’s fully integrated, digitally controlled loudspeaker columns. A single Intellivox-DSX430 is capable of covering an area of ​​up to 50 m while maintaining a uniform sound pressure level. Its array length not only offers long-throw capability but also extended control at low frequencies, making it ideal for highly reverberant environments. The thirteen custom-made 4? and the eight 1" dome tweeters are driven by a sixteen-channel Class-D amplifier, fed by a sophisticated switching mode power supply, all of which combine to ensure years of reliable operation. The dome tweeters in the DSX units not only improve horizontal coverage at high frequencies, but also increase the subjective sonic quality of the system for both speech and music. An extensive set of surveillance features has also been implemented to meet the tough demands of typical Voice Alarm (life safety) applications. The unit can be controlled using our proprietary WinControl software, which offers easy-to-use control of beam steering parameters, audio processing, presets, and surveillance features. The increased low frequency control afforded by the array makes the Intellivox-DSX430 suitable for easy, non-intrusive deployment in highly reverberant, architecturally sensitive environments.
