The Intellivox-DS380 offers excellent speech intelligibility even in demanding acoustic conditions. The Intellivox-DS380 is capable of providing a constant sound pressure level at a distance of up to 45 m, although a substantial extension of this range is possible in less demanding acoustic conditions. The twenty custom-built 4" loudspeakers are driven by a sixteen-channel Class-D amplifier, fed by a sophisticated switching power supply, all of which combine to ensure years of reliable operation. The loudspeakers themselves are arranged according to our proprietary algorithm. An extensive set of surveillance features have also been implemented to meet the rigorous demands of typical voice alarm (life safety) applications. The unit can be controlled using our proprietary WinControl software, which offers easy-to-use control of beam steering parameters, audio processing, presets, and surveillance functions. Its compact array length makes the Intellivox-DS380 suitable for easy and unobtrusive deployment in even the most architecturally sensitive environments.
