The dbx® 12 Series was designed to meet the needs of the most demanding sound reinforcement environments while maintaining simple operation with intuitive controls. The 1215 offers standard features such as dual-channel, 15 2/3-octave bands, ISO frequency centers, a ±12 dB input gain range, and switchable 40 Hz/18 dB per octave low-cut filters. However, it also includes other features designed to optimize its performance. These include 45 mm faders, ±6 dB or ±15 dB boost/cut range selection for precise gain adjustments, XLR, barrier strip, and 1/4" TRS connectors for easy installation, balanced inputs and outputs for quiet operation, and chassis/signal ground isolation capability to quickly eliminate hum. The innovative design of the dbx 12 Series makes your job easier.
dbx 12 Series equalizers are precision engineered to provide years of maintenance-free operation in any application. They feature a magnetically isolated transformer, electronically balanced/unbalanced inputs and servo-balanced/unbalanced outputs, RF-filtered inputs and outputs, and a hard-wired power-off bypass relay with a 2-second power-up delay, ensuring compatibility in any installation. Only the finest components are used, resulting in a frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz , a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 90 dB (reference +4 dBu), total harmonic distortion + noise (THD+N) less than 0.005% (at 1 kHz with +4 dBu), and inter-channel crosstalk less than -80 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz . All this attention to detail is contained in a 2U steel/aluminum chassis.
Recommended for: Portable applications, touring.
