The dbx AFS2 is a dedicated feedback suppression processor for live and installation applications that eliminates feedback without degrading your system’s tone. It features dbx’s latest AFS™ technology and a Wizard -guided workflow on its LCD screen , with per-channel level metering and 24 filter LEDs so you know what’s in effect. Each channel features up to 24 notch filters with widths as narrow as 1/80th of an octave , operating in Fixed (for ringing the system and gaining headroom before feedback) and Live (automatic protection during the event) modes, with selectable release times .

With electronically balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs and outputs , +4 dBu / −10 dBV level switching per channel, and USB for firmware updates, the AFS2 easily integrates into channel/subgroup inserts, the master bus, or between desk and stage. 24-bit / 48 kHz dbx Type IV™ conversion delivers up to 113 dB (A/D) dynamic range , 0.003% THD+N , and 20 Hz–20 kHz ±0.5 dB response—all in a single 1U rackmount package.
