The AKG WMS420INSETBDD is the instrument set of the WMS420 series. It integrates the SR420 receiver and the PT420 bodypack transmitter along with the instrument cable ( 1/4" TS jack to 3-pin mini XLR ) to convert guitars, basses or other instruments with a 1/4" output into wireless sources. Operating in Band D (863.1–864.9 MHz) , the European section known as “channel 70”, it offers transmission with pilot tone to avoid unwanted noise, antenna diversity , adjustable squelch , and professional balanced XLR and 1/4" jack outputs with switchable level. The system audio link covers 40 Hz–20 kHz with a typical SNR of 105 dB(A) and THD ≈0.8% . The PT420 bodypack operates on a single AA battery and achieves up to 8 hours of autonomy, with charging contacts compatible with the optional CU400 charger. It is a reliable and simple solution for stages, rentals, halls and education.
