AKG WMS420HEADSETBDD - UHF Headworn Band D Wireless System with PT420 Bodypack, C555L Microphone, and SR420 Receiver
The AKG WMS420HEADSETBDD is a complete UHF wireless system for speech and performance, including the SR420 receiver, PT420 bodypack, and C555L headworn microphone (cardioid condenser). It operates in Band D (863.1–864.9 MHz) , the segment known as “Channel 70” in Europe (local regulations apply). The system features antenna switching diversity , pilot tone transmission to prevent unwanted noise, balanced XLR and 1/4” (6.35 mm) outputs , and detachable BNC antennas for integrating distributors and remote antennas. The bodypack is powered by a single AA battery and provides up to 8 hours of battery life; the audio link covers 40 Hz–20 kHz with a typical SNR of 105 dB(A) and THD of ~0.8% . The C555L microphone provides a high intelligibility cardioid pattern ( 80 Hz–20 kHz ) and connects directly to the bodypack via a 3-pin mini XLR (TA3F) .
