The KORG wavestate mk II is the evolution of the legendary Wave Sequencing concept . It maintains the compact form factor with 37 full-size keys and adds expanded polyphony to 96 stereo voices , a revised sound collection and full compatibility with libraries from the original wavestate, wavestate SE and wavestate native software . Its keyboard responds to velocity and release velocity , and the panel offers immediate control of filters, envelopes, LFOs, effects and 8 Mod Knobs , in addition to the vector joystick to mix and modulate the 4 layers in real time.

With gigabytes of samples and loading of up to 4 GB of your own multisamples via Sample Builder , the wavestate mk II lets you create constantly evolving textures by combining independent Lanes of Timing , Sample , Pitch , Shape , Gate and Step Seq . It incorporates 14 simultaneous effects (3 per layer + reverb and master EQ), Set Lists for organizing set lists and Smooth Sound Transitions for seamless sound changes on the fly.
