The Electro-Voice RE3-ACC-AASP is an active antenna distributor that acts as an RF and DC power distribution center in multi-channel systems. It divides each input antenna (A/B) into four outputs per side to feed up to four diversity receivers without loss of level, thanks to its 3 dB (±2 dB) RF output gain . It also incorporates cascade outputs per antenna (level 0 to +2 dB) that allow distributors to be chained without sacrificing any of the 4 outputs per side: up to five AASPs can be cascaded from a single pair of antennas.
The AASP distributes +12 VDC power to four receivers and provides power for active antennas and/or boosters over the coaxial cable (selectable). It is factory -activated ; if necessary, deactivation is via a switch located on the main board inside the chassis. It operates in the wide 470–960 MHz range, with 25 dB isolation between outputs to minimize crosstalk and standard 50 Ω BNC connectivity , allowing it to work with passive (e.g., half-wave ) or active antennas and in-line boosters.
