The Electro-Voice ND86 is a supercardioid dynamic handheld microphone designed for lead vocals on loud stages and large venues. Its large-diaphragm capsule and tuned response deliver a present, smooth, and detailed sound with excellent isolation from the rest of the stage. It features a shock- mounted capsule to reduce handling noise, a dent-resistant Memraflex grille , and a humbucking coil that attenuates hum caused by electromagnetic interference. Additionally, a hydrophobic membrane protects the diaphragm from moisture and particulate matter, ensuring reliability on stage.

With a 70 Hz–17 kHz response , 2.4 mV/Pa sensitivity , 350 Ω impedance , and handling >140 dB SPL , the ND86 lets you crank up your vocals in dense mixes with reduced feedback thanks to its directivity and off-axis control. Its die-cast zinc body with a black polyurethane finish is designed for touring. Connects via a 3-pin XLR connector and comes with a clip , Euro-thread adapter , and a carrying case .
