The KORG SQ-64 is a polyphonic step sequencer designed to become the center of your studio. Its 64-pad matrix with adjustable LEDs and OLED display provide clear pattern viewing and instant editing, while the aluminum chassis ensures portability and durability. With three melody tracks (up to 8 notes of polyphony each) and a drum track with 16 monophonic subtracks , you can create complex sequences and control them simultaneously using analog hardware, Eurorack, drum machines, digital synthesizers, or your DAW.

Connectivity is one of its strong points: MIDI (TRS 3.5 mm Type-A: 1× IN, 2× OUT), Analog Sync IN/OUT, three CV blocks per melodic track ( PITCH, GATE and MOD in A/B/C) and 8 trigger outputs for the drum track. Each melodic track has 16 patterns of up to 64 steps and the drum track offers 16 subtracks with up to 64 steps; everything can be chained and edited on the fly. It integrates arpeggiator , Reverse , Bounce , Random and Stochastic playback modes , as well as keyboard modes for the pads (Keys, Isomorphic and Octaves) that make it easy to enter melodies and chords. With 64 internal projects , power via USB or optional 9V DC adapter, and recent firmware enhancements (e.g., Drum Pad mode, Rec Quantize , Step Copy), the SQ-64 offers a modern, deeply editable workflow.
