The Intellivox-DS500 is the flagship of the slimline Intellivox DDS range and has been installed in high-profile projects worldwide. It has proven to be a versatile and accurate solution for all locations requiring excellent speech intelligibility in highly reverberant conditions. With an acoustic length exceeding 4 m, the Intellivox-DS500 not only offers long-throw capability but also greater control at low frequencies. A single Intellivox-DS500 is capable of covering an area of ​​up to 70 m while maintaining a uniform sound pressure level. The thirty-two custom-designed 4″ loudspeakers are driven by a sixteen-channel Class D amplifier, fed by a sophisticated switched-mode power supply, all of which combine to ensure years of reliable operation. The loudspeakers are arranged according to our proprietary algorithm. A comprehensive range of supervisory functions have also been implemented to meet the stringent demands of typical voice alarm (life safety) applications. The unit can be controlled using our proprietary WinControl software, which offers easy control of beam steering parameters, audio processing, and monitoring functions. The increased low-mid frequency control offered by the array makes the Intellivox-DS500 suitable for easy and unobtrusive deployment in very large, highly reverberant, and architecturally sensitive environments.
