JBL PROFESSIONAL CPI2000 - Cinema Processor

CPi2000 is a professional grade processor developed by JBL to provide audio enhancement and volume control for movie theaters. It features DSP processing, room EQ adjustment, volume control, and system fault detection and can be configured via a custom designed GUI software. CPi2000 offers four input options: Analog Input, Digital Input, No-Sync Input, and a mono Microphone Input. The Analog Input and Digital Input accept audio signals from any theater server. The No-Sync Input receives line-level stereo signals from a CD or DVD player for background music playback. The Microphone Input typically connects to an RTA microphone for room adjustment. CPi2000 installs ten (10) HD-15 Analog Output connectors for passive, bi-amped, or tri-amped connection and one 25-pin Analog Output connector for connection to a third-party audio system. Its Redundant Output connector (works in conjunction with the Analog Input) will bypass the CPi2000 system and send audio signals directly in the event of a power failure. The large LCD display on the front panel makes it easy for technicians to perform a quick check of the system status. To make overall control of the output volume quick and easy, the volume knob is designed to be accessible from the front. Thanks to the specially designed GUI software, setting up your cinema audio system is now less demanding. CPi2000 provides a 1/3 octave GEQ for room tuning via the GUI software and comes with a variable crossover preset list to accept a wide range of cinema speakers. Designed for use with CROWN cinema amplifiers and JBL cinema speakers, the CPi2000 can detect amplifier or speaker faults and send the fault information to a TMS or third-party control system via its RJ45 connector.
