KORG CA-50 - Pocket Chromatic Tuner with Enlarged Display and Extended Battery Life
The KORG CA-50 is the standard in chromatic tuners for band and orchestral instruments. It features a more legible LCD display with a high-response needle-type meter and center note indicator, pure major and minor third markers for accurate harmonies, and a Sound Out mode with audible reference pitch. Its wide A0–C8 detection range covers everything from piccolo to tuba and violin to double bass, and A4 calibration between 410–480 Hz in 1 Hz steps allows for adapting to a variety of concert pitches. It includes a built-in microphone and 1/4" (mono, unbalanced) INPUT/OUTPUT connectivity for linking your instrument and amp without disconnecting. The design adds a stable flip-up stand and a sliding battery cover for convenient use on a music stand. Backup memory preserves calibration and Sound Out settings, and the 20-minute auto-off helps extend the battery life to approximately 135 hours on two AAA batteries (not included).
