AKG WMS470PRESSETBD9 - UHF Presenter Band 9 Wireless System with Beltpack, Lavalier Microphone (and Headband) and Receiver
The AKG WMS470PRESSETBD9 is the “Presenter” set of the WMS470 family in Band 9 , a high-performance analog UHF wireless system designed for spoken word in conferencing, theater, education and worship. It includes the SR470 diversity receiver , the PT470 bodypack transmitter , a CK99 L (cardioid) lavalier microphone and a C555 L (cardioid) headset microphone , plus a rackmount kit and essential accessories. With a 30.5 MHz tuning width , up to 1,200 selectable frequencies in 25 kHz steps and Auto Setup , Environment Scan and Rehearsal Mode functions, the system sets up in seconds and integrates seamlessly into demanding multi-channel environments. The IR link synchronizes transmitter and receiver, and pilot tone transmission prevents turn-on/turn-off noise.
Band 9 covers the ranges 600.1–605.9 MHz and 614.1–630.5 MHz (avoiding channel 37); in Band 9-U versions the window is continuous 600.1–630.5 MHz , subject to local regulation. The SR470 receiver, half-width 19” and metal chassis, offers balanced XLR (level switchable) and 6.3 mm unbalanced jack outputs , two BNC antennas, and a typical SNR of 120 dB(A) . The PT470 bodypack can operate up to 14 hours on a single AA battery, has 10/50 mW RF power switching (as per regulations), and a 35 Hz–20 kHz response.
