The AKG WMS40 Mini2 Mix Set ISM2/3 is a ready-to-use, two-channel UHF wireless system combining a PT40 Mini instrument bodypack transmitter (with AKG MKG L mini XLR–1/4" jack cable ) and an HT40 Mini handheld microphone , operating on the fixed ISM2 (864.375 MHz) and ISM3 (864.850 MHz) frequencies. Its SR40 Mini2 receiver integrates two independent receivers into an ultra-compact chassis with two balanced 1/4" jack outputs (one per channel), volume control, and On/Off , RF OK and AF Clip indicators for easy operation. The WMS40 Mini series features 40 Hz–20 kHz audio , typical THD 0.8% and battery life of up to 30 hours on a single AA battery per transmitter, minimizing operating costs in rehearsals, gigs and events.

Thanks to HDAP (High Definition Audio Performance) technology, the system maintains clear, natural sound. The fixed-frequency design and ISM2/ISM3 combination of the dual receiver allow for the immediate use of two simultaneous channels , and if required, the coordination of up to three simultaneous WMS40 Mini systems on the European ISM band using ISM1/2/3. The typical line-of-sight range is approximately 20 m , sufficient for small stages, multipurpose rooms, classrooms, or places of worship.
